I hate Lupron.

I was on Lupron from October 2011-March 2012.
After suffering through severe depression and being achy all the time, I finally had my surgery on March 5th and ended my "era with Lupron".
Although I ended my "era", I still suffer everyday from side effects.
I am still depressed. I ache even worse than I did before. I'm grumpy. My hair is thinning little by little.
Fucking sucks.
And last night, I took birth control for the first time since October. I've thrown up 3xs since then. Not a nice throw up (can they be nice?), but a very painful acidic type of throw up. Enough to make me hoarse and skip work for the day. I hate skipping work, even though I work with Mrs. Knowitall. I like my money.
I still feel uneasy on the stomach.
I think my body went into estrogen overload and was rejecting the birth control pill.
Well body, it was a couple of hours too late. That pill was long since dissolved by the time you decided to upchuck the contents of my stomach.

So, right now, I'm watching the Voice and trying to ignore the "upsettity" that is my stomach. (Lori Green, if you read this, you'll know exactly who I am by that word)
If you're reading this, you have a good night :)

Because ya had a bad day... (LONG rant)

I think I may have mentioned in a previous post that I work at a small Thai restaurant right across the street from the base that I live close to. If not, well now you know.

So my bosses are very nice and kind people who have been VERY lenient with my attendance (do you call it attendance?) at work. So I'm VERY patient with them when "things" happen.

"Things" like:
Bossman- "Order ready!"
Me- "What is it?"
BM- "Chicken basil!"
Me- "Okay, thank you!"
I bring the "chicken basil" to the customer and return to wait for the next order.
BM- "Order ready!"
Me- "What's this one?"
BM- "Chicken basil!"
Me- "O-wait... I only had one chicken basil for this order."
BM-"Yeah! This is chicken basil!"
Me- "Then what did I just take out?!"
BM- "Chicken pad ped!"
Me- *alskhglkdjgliaeuryhtlkd*

Or this:
BM- "You call 'phone company' and tell them no pay bill this month!"
Me- "What? Why?"
BM- "No money."

Or this:
BM- "You explain better for me."
Me- "Okay you gotta-"
BM- "I know, man!"

:) I am a very patient person.

But today, I was pushed past my breaking point. Not with my bosses. No. My co-worker. Mrs. Knowitall. She's such a bitch. I really do hate her, but I am "nice" when we are at work because having a bad relationship with someone you work with is like a death wish. I probably signed mine today.

I normally put up with Mrs. Knowitall because well what else am I gonna do? She was working there before I was, so it's not like I have seniority when it comes to certain things. She gets the first table that sits down. She picks which duty she wants to do. Like the courtesies you should give to either a female or an elder. (And she does qualify in both categories)

Mrs. Knowitall makes snide little comments ALL the time. Drives me insane, but being patient and having the ability to tune out a lot of stuff, I just don't pay any attention to it.
Today, I was in pain. My body is still in recovery mode from my surgery from the 5th. I'm grouchy from the after-effects of Lupron.  I'm running out of patience and it's happening very quickly.

It was okay when I first walked in. I was tolerating her. She was being annoying like usual. If you could hear her voice, you would understand. She reminds me of Fran Drescher.  Anyways, we were okay. But then people started coming in and she started complaining about how she didn't wear her belt because she thought we were going to be slow today. I told her to never guess how business is going to be. Just come prepared to work. You would think that after 20 years of being a waitress (which is something she reminds me of OVER AND OVER again) she would understand this very clearly. But she doesn't. She did this super exasperated sigh thing that pisses me off instantly whenever I hear it because I know she's just looking for more attention. I kept making drinks for my table. She made her noise again. I ignored her again. Then she walked away. See? Normally works like a charm.

She has a table of 10 people walk in. No biggie. She can handle that. Table of 8 walks in. I take that one. She takes orders for her food. Everytime someone orders, I ask them if they want their food spicy if it applies to the food they're ordering. Apparently Mrs. Knowitall doesn't do that. I found this out when I went to bring out the food to her table because she had another big table that sat down. I brought the dishes out and told them that I had one spicy dish and the other three were not spicy. Apparently that was wrong. So I went back and checked her ticket. She only wrote spicy for one of them. Three were supposed to be spicy, one mild. I went talk to her and she told me "just give them a spice rack, Janie!"

Hold on. What? If I ordered spicy food and it came out not spicy, I would expect them to remake it. I would expect my waitress to fix this. I wasn't this tables waitress, but I was going to fix this. I brought it to my boss and he told me he couldn't do anything because we had too many orders. At this point in time, I was livid with Mrs. Knowitall. She just kept telling me to give them the spice rack then my boss told me to do the same.

I really didn't want to do this. But I listened to my boss and apologized to the customers and told them I could bring them a spice rack and they could put the peppers in there to make their dishes spicy.

I immediately saw the dissapointment and frustration on their faces. I apologized again and got them the spice racks.

Mrs. Knowitall had the nerve to ask me if I was mad at her. I told her we would talk about it later because there were way too many customers in the restaurant and I didn't want to "make a scene."

After everything calmed down, I pulled her to the side.

Me- look, you need to start specifying whether or not they want their food spicy.
Mrs.- They usually tell me whether or not they want it, so I just didn't write anything because they didn't tell me.
Me- You have to ask them. I ask them. Why can't you ask them?
Mrs.- Because they tell me.
Me- They didn't this time. Some people think that the food is auto-spicy. It's not. They have to request that. You are their waitress, but I was bringing out the food to them. Next time they come in here they're gonna be like "Oh, I don't want Janie as my waitress, she didn't get my order right last time" when it was your fault. All they're going to remember is me bringing out their food and being like "oh, it's not spicy, I can't fix that, but here's some pepper" See where I'm going with this?
Mrs.- They shouldn't be upset with you about that.
Me- Mrs. Knowitall, they shouldn't be upset at all. You should have asked them if their food was to be spicy.
Mrs.- *silence*

I know I may have been a bit bitchy with this, but I was already frustrated.  But to my surprise, she did not respond to this. I think I may have shocked her into silence. Like I said, I'm a VERY patient person. I can hold my tongue when I need to. I probably should have there, but convos like this are a daily occurence and I'm losing patience.

But that isn't even the end of it.
So later on, I was making tea because every Airman that we came through the doors either drank sweet tea or water. Our boss being the nice boss that he is asked me if I was hungry. I told him "no thank you" because I had to leave early for class. He asked "You want to-go?" I declined again telling him my reason.

Mrs. Knowitall had just gotten off the phone with her husband complaining yelling that she wouldn't be home until after three and that someone had to be at her house for her son to be home.

Bossman asked her "You want to eat?"

She started washing cups. "No, Bossman! I don't have time! I'm going to be getting out of here late as it is!"

I turned around and glared into the back of her head. If I was Bossman, I would have told her to go home and don't come back.

He asked her again "You hungry?"

She did that sigh thing that I hate so much. "NO! I SAID I DON'T HAVE TIME! THAT MEANS I DON'T WANT ANYTHING!"

*pop*

there goes my patience...

"He was asking you if you wanted food! Meaning to-go! You don't talk to him like that! He's your boss! You could have just said 'no thank you!'"

*silence*

I think that she thinks because our bosses are Thai that they are stupid. My bosses are the complete opposite of stupid. I respect them for what they've been able to do. Come to a different country and learn a new language. Open a customer service oriented business. That takes balls and brains. She looks down on them and talks down on them all the time. It makes me think of what she thinks of my mom. My mom is Korean, does she think that my mom is stupid? I hope, for her sake, that she doesn't. Because then it would turn into a screaming match mostly on my part.

Anyways...
Five minutes after I yelled at her, she told me "You can just go home now."

I laughed at her. "Leaving you with all the work to do would be my pleasure."
"Bossman, that okay with you?"

He said yes and I told Mrs. Knowitall
"peace."

She texted me and told me to call her. I called back 5 minutes later and her husband told me that something happened with her dad and that she won't be at work tomorrow.
1) That's wrong. Why are you gonna hurt your daddy just so you have an excuse not to see me at work tomorrow?
2) I am a.o.k. with her not showing up. I won't need her tomorrow. It's ORI day 1 for the base. We should be not too busy :)
3) Any day without Mrs. Knowitall is a good day :)

Time for sleep.
"peace" lol

Laparoscopies and Endo Family :)

SO!
I had surgery one week ago today. It went well, I assume. I'm still in pain. Not as bad as it was the few days after surgery though. I'm just glad that is over with for now.
I have 4 incisions. One in my belly button, two on my left side and one on the right. And boy, are they pretty hahahaha....

They prescribed me pain meds for this whole shebang. I try not to take them unless the pain gets really bad. I like pain killers. Maybe a little too much. So that's why I keep away from them as much as possible. Although I think that maybe my brother has taken some of my medication for himself. But then again, he does keep illegals in his room. My parents don't care, which pisses me off. Oh well... I'll move away from that kid someday (yes, he is still a kid)

Anyways.... I've found this amazing group of ladies and gentlemen on facebook. They are my "Endo family." When I was having problems "prepping" for my surgery, I expressed my dilemma and they came to the rescue and I quickly overcame my problem. They also all wished me the best with my surgery. They are all amazing, powerful, determined people. It's an even bigger plus because there are doctors on there too. They can vaguely answer questions that ladies (and the occasional gentlemen) have on there.

So now, I'm going to take a half a pain pill and finish watching The Voice (I'm SO dissapointed that CeeLo didn't choose Angie Johnson) and HOPEFULLY go to sleep afterwards. I've been having problems sleeping lately :/

This my friends is what we would call a "fail"

It should be completely obvious from reading my first post and the date of this post that my fear of blog commitment is 100% real. I do this shit all the time.

By the way...
I do cuss.
A lot.
If that is a problem with you, there should be a button in the upper right hand corner of the screen that you can conveniently click on. It's a nice little button, really.

So for those of you who are still hanging out...
HI!
I'm Janie.
I'm 21. I live in the south. I'm educated (Ooh surprise!). My mom is Korean. My dad is Cajun. My friends tell me that I'm Kor-ajun. Yupp. My friends are the most creative people in the world. Be jealous. Ha. They also tell me that if I was Jewish that I would be the anti-Christ and would have to be "put down." I'm a red headed French Korean with freckles. Again. Creative friends.
I am a full time student. I take 6 classes per 4 months. I'm a badass. Hahaha. But no. Really. This shit puts me on edge sometimes. I feel like I want to lose my fucking mind.
I also work full time. Monday through Friday. I work at a little Thai restaurant by my house. I also act as a secretary there because my boss has a bit of trouble understanding English over the phone. When in person though he has no problem understanding you because "I know, man!" is his favorite thing to say. Then when he doesn't understand, he says "You explain better!" Sometimes, I just wanna be like "DAWG! SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN!" But he's my boss and I respect him too much to say that shit to him. That's way more than I can say for my co-worker. I'll call her "Mrs. Knowitall." And that's a story for a different day.

Something else about me that my friends know (and since we're gonna get all nice and personal here, you should know too) I have arthritis and endometriosis. You most likely know what arthritis is. If you don't, you can either google it or wait around on my blog for me to bitch about it one day. You may or may not know what endometriosis is. I didn't know what it was until I was diagnosed in June 2011. It's a female condition where the lining of the uterus decides "Hey, this uterus is a bit cramped, let's grow on the outside of this thing" and so it does. It also bleeds once a month. It's quite the painful thing. I used to roll around on the floor during my first 2 days of my periods because the pain was so terrible. Now that I'm on treatment, the pain is not so bad. It's still there, but it's now considered normal. Crazy. I thought rolling around on the ground was normal. I guess not...haha :) I'm having surgery in a week. March 5th. To clear things up in there again. Should be fun. I'll update this when I can.

Peace.
